What's inside

  • 01 Practice Exam B: 140 items in the 2027 format. Three options per item and two halves of 70, as on the NCE that begins July 1, 2027. Every item has its answer and rationale, including why the wrong answers tempt you, plus 2027 task codes and a domain score grid that sends you back to the right chapters.
  • 02 Flashcards for all 34 chapters. 556 cards that follow the book chapter by chapter. Print them as double-sided cut-out sheets, or flip through them online on any device.
  • 03 Extra drills for every chapter. Two more drills per chapter (fill-in-the-blank, sorting, matching, sequencing, and more), with answers on the following page.
  • 04 Extended glossary. Terms from Chapters 1–9 that the book teaches but its printed glossary leaves out.

How to use it with the book

Testing on or after July 1, 2027Take Practice Exam B first, when your study plan calls for a practice exam, and take Practice Exam A in the book afterward.
Testing before July 1, 2027Start with Practice Exam A in the book, and use Practice Exam B for extra practice.
Printing the flashcardsPrint double-sided, flipping on the long edge, at actual size (100%). Each back lands behind its front, so you can cut the sheets straight into cards.
